Q: When I place my
computer in suspend mode, I'll come back to it a short while later to find that
it is active again. What can I do to ensure that my computer will stay in
suspend mode?
A: Try this:

Go to Start
-
Select Control
Panel
-
Select Network
Connections
-
Right click
your Local Area Connection
-
Select
Properties
-
With the
General tab selected, select the Configure button
-
Select the
Power Management tab
-
Uncheck the
entry titled: "Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby"

Click OK
