Dothan, Alabama. He writes: My Bachelors degree is in Information Technology and my Associates Degree is in Electronics Technology. My Dell DCSE (Dell Certified Systems Expert) Certification covers desktops, workstations, printers and laptops. I started my own computer systems consulting business a little over 11 years ago. I am the owner and operator and have been running this business out of my home. My focus is mainly on enterprise level desktop administration and support. Most of my knowledge of repairing PCs is self taught. The first computer I purchased was a brand new shiny Tandy 1000HX that came with a color VGA monitor for $700 back in 1986. It took me a few days but I learned how to control my PC using DOS, then I went out and bought a 1,200 baud modem and took apart the PC and installed it. A few minutes later I was online. I knew at that point I wanted to have a career in computers and have been doing it ever since. My goal is to someday own a chain of national PC repair businesses. I am a huge Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, I also am a big fan of college football, especially Florida and Florida State. |
