Hallo  ,

Recently my Homepage got hijacked, my computer has spyware, malware, unwanted tools etc. Just few days ago it came back to its original homepage after i knew how to fixed it from 5 Star Support (now im still fixing it). But since my computer got problems, now i lost the facility to open image by using Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. The facility to set picture as my desktop background is also gone. I didnt know why, is it one of the effect of having files infected by those spywares, unwanted tools etc?

What should i do now to get them back...? Anyone please help.

Thanks... :)

Hi Ardine,

I found this which may fix your problem:

Start > Run > ....type in ...cmd (hit enter)

To readd image preview, type and hit enter
regsvr32 shimgvw.dll

To readd media preview, type and hit enter
regsvr32 shmedia.dll

Hello ardine

Are you saying that your machine is still infected?

Have you tried using system restore and rolling back to when everything was ok?

Hi

I'm presuming system restore fixed the problem yes/no?

Do you want assistance with the infection?
