Hey again guys. I have what is likely to be a stupid question. I have made several posts here and love the site and the knowledge of the members. However, I always have a hard time figuring out the correct way to close a post after my question has been answered. Can you give me the procedure for closing a post the way it needs to be done.
Thanks

Hi,

QUOTE
closing a post

I assume you mean closing a thread. ( The thread is the long / short series of posts that have been put together to help you. This would include your replies to suggestions / questions )

The short answer is that you do not need to do anything at all smile.gif

If the thread needs closing this will be done by one of the moderators.
Often they are left open so that you can come back if you need to.

If you find that one of your threads has been closed ( locked ) then a PM to one of the Mods with a link to the thread will enable us to open it again.

Hope that this helps.

Hi,

If you don't know the answer then it is not a stupid question.

Only staff can close topics/posts. As soon as we see that a topic has been resolved we close it.

If you want any of your topics closed then just reply to the topic in question saying something similar to, 'Thank you problem resolved' and we'll close it for you.

Hope this helps.

Tj

OK thanks. I know some sites I have used in the past have a button to close a topic. I just wanted to make sure I was following procedure.
